Talent Corners Advisory (TCA) is dedicated to protecting the privacy of personal data accessed in the course of providing our services to corporate, non-profit, and governmental customers (“Customers”). This privacy statement outlines our data processing practices and your rights as a user.
1. Role of Data Controller and Data Processor
- Customers as Data Controllers: Customers are responsible for determining which of their employees or other authorized personnel gain access to TCA services and managing personal data according to applicable laws and regulations.
- TCA as Data Processor: TCA processes personal data solely on behalf of Customers and in accordance with their instructions. Our data processing practices and security measures are governed by a written agreement with each Customer.
2. Data Collection
TCA collects information from individual users (“Users”) when they are granted access to TCA services by a Customer. Data may include basic information such as name, email address, and other optional details like profile photos and areas of interest.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
TCA processes User data to facilitate services for Customers. This includes account setup, user support, communications, and other service-related activities.
4. Retention and Deletion
User data is retained for as long as required to provide services to Customers. TCA deletes personal data upon Customer request and retains only anonymized or aggregated data for analytical and service improvement purposes.
5. Data Sharing
TCA shares User data with third-party service providers only for the purpose of providing services to Customers. These providers are contractually required to use User data solely as directed by TCA.
6. Processing Outside the EEA
TCA’s servers and subprocessors are located in the United States. If personal data originates from a User or Administrator in the European Economic Area (EEA), TCA ensures that such processing complies with applicable data protection laws through standard contractual clauses or other safeguards.
7. User Rights and Preferences
Users may opt-out of non-transactional emails and adjust their cookie preferences. To request access to personal data or correct any inaccuracies, Users should contact the relevant Customer (employer) for assistance.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
TCA uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance the user experience and monitor site performance. Users can manage their cookie preferences through browser settings.
9. Changes to the Privacy Statement
TCA will notify Customers if any material changes are made to the manner in which User data is processed.
